Amazon picks up The Looming Tower

Amazon nabs Hulu drama based on the Pulitzer winning exposé of how rivalry between CIA & FBI may have set the stage for 9/11.

Amazon has picked up forthcoming Hulu drama The Looming Tower.

Starring Jeff Daniels, Alec Baldwin and Peter Sarsgaard the US drama that traces the rising threat of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda, and how the rivalry between the CIA and FBI may have inadvertently set the stage for the tragedy of 9/11 and the war in Iraq.

The 10 part drama is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning exposé of the same name by Lawrence Wright.

To be produced by Legendary TV, it will premiere on Amazon in 2018.
