Doctor Blake leads local drama gap

Ratings: There were winners and losers in local dramas last week.

The Doctor Blake Mysteries topped local dramas last week, in a week where the winners and losers were evident.

ABC’s drama pulled 792,000 viewers, ahead of Nine’s Doctor Doctor on 716,000, Seven’s Home and Away on 631,000 and 800 Words on 580,000.

Trailing some distance behind were Wake in Fright (386,000), The Wrong Girl (382,000), Glitch (201,000) and Neighbours (146,000).

It’s worth noting that most local drama still performs in Timeshifted results.

Meanwhile last week, Nine again claimed victory over Seven.

Nine won the demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

Nine ranked first on Sunday – Wednesday with Seven scoring Thursday – Saturday. ABC bettered TEN on Saturday.

Nine won Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. Seven again won Adelaide & Perth.

Best brands last week were:

Nine: The Block (Nine: 1.57m), 60 Minutes (1.07m), Nine News (860,000) and A Current Affair (797,000).

Seven: Seven News (Sun: 920,000), Little Big Shots (882,000), Better Homes & Gardens (727,000) and Movie: Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom (647,000).

TEN: Bathurst 1000 (Podium: 1.02m), The Bachelorette (Thurs: 993,000), Gogglebox (807,000), Australian Survivor (Winner announced: 787,000).

ABC: Doc Martin (832,000), Gruen (830,000), ABC News (Sun: 828,000) and The Doctor Blake Mysteries (792,000).
