11 Comments:

  1. Now that footy has finished I can start catching up on other shows.

I enjoyed better homes and gardens last night each person going to a different part of Australia.

Caught a bit of the Graham Norton show. Margot was good on it and held her own against 3 great American actors. Thought Harrison Ford was even quite good on it and Reese Witherspoon as well. As they have a reputation for being a pain to interview.

Margot has come a long way from Ramsay Street

  2. We’ve had Morse (a great show in its day) plus a sequel and now a prequel. I think Endeavour has more to do with the nostalgia phenomenon in the UK (in this case the sixties) than anything else. I won’t be watching although it is very well done judging by last nights introduction.Sure to rate well for a certain age group.

    • It’s well repeated, though-lack of ads might well add to its appeal but most who were interested will have seen it several times by now-would be a good chance to make permanent recordings if one so desired (disc/hard drive etc).

  3. A better Friday result for Ten. The Living Room is gaining viewers. I like their fun style informative presentations and when the Encore off HYBPA is in the top 20, then it shows viewers will watch the Encore if they were not able to watch the show on Mondays due to watching and following shows on other channels. Not a silly idea really 🙂

  4. Why the sudden increase in ratings for Ten? I cant remember when the last time was that Living Room and Graham Norton rated that high. Its also their highest Friday share in ages. In fact it was their second highest share after Thursday this week. Weird!

  5. Amazing what happens when the AFL and NRL are finished.

Ten’s best Friday for the ratings survey? Nearly beat Nine’s main channel! Wow.

With Graham Norton (previewing “Blade Runner 2049”) dominating its slot.

The Living Room before it was up and even the HYBPA encore did very well post 9:30pm.

Otherwise a big win to Seven, with Better Homes and movie “Captain America” doing well. No. 1 multi-channel too, with the film “The Da Vinci Code” airing for over 3 hours.

“Tomorrow Never Dies” flopped for Channel 9, 90s Bond not doing flash for Nine lately.
