Kim Cattrall: Sarah Jessica Parker “could have been nicer”

Former Sex and The City actress makes pointed comments to her ex co-star over suggestions she is to blame for no third film.

Actress Kim Cattrall has responded (again) to suggestions her demands derailed a third Sex and The City movie, telling Piers Morgan that last December she politely declined the return.

“Now to get any kind of negative press about something that I’ve been saying for almost a year of ‘no’, that I’m demanding or a diva. And this is really where I take to task the people from Sex and The City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker is that I think she could have been nicer. I really think she could have been nicer,” she said.

“It’s a great part. I played it past the finish line and then some and I loved it and another actress should play it, maybe they could make it an African American Samantha Jones or a Hispanic Samantha Jones.”

  1. The second film was terrible. I agree it should be left where it was. Kim Catrall has previously pointed out that she is no longer interested; they could re-cast if they are that desperate to make a third film.
