  1. I wonder if Ten will renew Survivor next yr? It seems to have a base of around 680k (after time shifter viewing) and doesn’t do too badly in young demos

  2. Survivor annoyed me last night…..everyone playing to stop Lochy rather than trying to win, the worst offenders imo Tara and David, neither of whom I like. Both play like sheep in sheeps clothing

    1. I don’t think any of the others have a hope while Lochy is there. He is strong in the challenges and therefore able to win immunity. He was able to keep a close knit group around himself, but finally they have realised it is only to help HIM win. So, yes, they do need to get rid of him if possible.

That is how I see it anyway.

    2. Who’s David? There is Peter and Jericho, besides Lochie.
You are right though, there are a lot of sheep still in the flock this year which will make the next couple of votes really interesting. it may see a very easy vote for the winner.

  3. Not good for Seven’s new show Manhunt. Perhaps it was on too early for its tone. A little embarrassing when it gets beaten by Highway Patrol following (and both Patrol episodes might have been repeats!?)

  4. Nine thanks TEN for the Menendez promotion in one of the episodes over the weekend on their “48 Hours” channel, aka One.
Don’t understand the obsession with the Menendez case, which has been regurgitated over and over, when there are similar, or worse cases of murder of parents as shown in the “48 Hours” ep.

  5. The return of the Blacklist couldn’t have been terribly impressive – although it is the kind of show you time-shift.
Can you share the numbers please David?

  6. I don’t think Tony Martin will be getting an invite back to HYBPA anytime soon…. 1 correct answer for the whole night. And it was a 50/50 question.

  7. HYBPA figures shows you don’t need a strong lead in to maintain viewers. People have remotes cancan change channel. Good on 10 for persevering with this show. Something light hearted on a Monday night. Hope Cram is also poplar.

    1. I want Cram to be popular too… but first and foremost, I want it to be good above anything else… because there’s too much s**t right now that’s popular when it really isn’t that good… and that’s unsettling.

  8. Renovating houses has a lot more relevance to viewers than renovating apartments resulting in huge ratings. Perhaps 9 should change its mind about The Gatwick.
