SBS has picked up another series with Michael Portillo, but this time without trains.
Portillo’s Hidden History of Britain sees the former politician become a guerrilla urban explorer as he investigates 4 of the UK’s most fascinating abandoned buildings.
The first is Shepton Mallet jail, which closed its doors in 2013 after more than 400 years.
The 4 part series, produced by Transparent Television is due to air on the UK’s Channel 5 soon. An Australian airdate has not yet been announced.
