UK crime drama Top Boy, which screened 2 seasons from 2011-2013, could be poised for a revival on Netflix.
Ashley Walters, who played drug kingpin Dushane, all but confirmed the show’s return on Instagram last year, while rapper Drake bought the rights to it this April.
Walters has since indicated that whilst there’s nothing to confirm “as of yet”, [but] there may be an update next month.
The series, created by Ronan Bennett, follows the lives of a group of people involved in drug dealing and street gangs in Hackney, East London.
Netflix, which previously picked up Channel 4’s Black Mirror, screens both seasons. It indicated it has no updates.
Top Boy first screened in Australia on ABC2.
