The Block, Paying Attention lead Monday entertainment.

Ratings: The Block, HYBPA?, Home & Away and Australian Survivor topped Monday's entertainment shows.

The Block shows no signs of abating drawing 1.39m viewers and topping the demos yet again. It left three shows to battle it out for next place.

Australian Survivor‘s penultimate episode pulled 669,000, upon last week, with 7:30 and Highway Patrol to follow. That puts The Block at more than twice its opposition.

Have You Been Paying Attention? took the lead at 8:45pm with 760,000 viewers, snaring second for the night in the Demos. It ranked ahead of the Menendez Murders, Four Corners and Manhunt -all three lower than last week.

Seven led early evening thanks to The Chase and Seven News with A Current Affair strong at 951,000.

Nine network won Monday with 30.4% then Seven 23.8%, TEN 19.7%, ABC 19.2% and SBS 6.9%.

The Block was #1 wth 1.39m for Nine then A Current Affair (951,000), Nine News (942,000 / 940,000), Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders (581,000) and Hot Seat (457,000 / 271,000).

Seven News (985,000 / 965,000) was best for Seven then Home and Away (696,000), Highway Patrol (628,000 / 593,000), The Chase (533,000 / 340,000) and Manhunt (387,000). Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders was 240,000.

Have You Been Paying Attention? topped TEN’s night with 760,000 viewers followed by Australian Survivor (669,000), The Project (540,000 / 342,000), TEN Eyewitness News (448,000), Family Feud (307,000) and Man with a Plan (264,000).

ABC News (790,000), 7:30 (634,000), Australian Story (576,000), Four Corners (567,000), Media Watch (519,000) and Q&A (421,000).

On SBS it was The World’s Most Extraordinary People (194,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (178,000), River Cottage Australia (174,000) and SBS World News (149,000).

Shaun the Sheep showed up multichannels once more with 229,000.

  1. Nice to see Wikipedia had ‘spoilers’ over the Survivor AU page – with the immunity challenge winner and the 9 jury votes. Quickly removed, however long enough to see who wins.

    Now to see if it’s false, or actually accurate..

  2. I haven’t watched The Block the last few seasons but this years is rating quite well, for those who are watching is this season a good one ? I think renovating houses as opposed to a unit block would make it a bit more appealing.
