Andre Rieu is still a thing, and next week Foxtel Arts has Andre Rieu: Christmas Down Under.
Filmed at Sydney Town Hall last year, this is its TV premiere.
The “King of the Waltz” brings one of his most festive concerts ever recorded to Foxtel Arts! With show tunes, classical music and plenty of festive fun, it promises a great way to celebrate the festive season and start to the new year! This wonderful show captures a magical evening of music and dance, featuring his world-class sopranos, The Platin Tenors and plenty of surprises, recorded live in Sydney’s iconic Town Hall in 2018.
Featuring the most beloved Christmas tunes like The Holy City, Sleigh ride, O holy Night and Jingle Bells; romantic classics like Plaisir d’Amour, Auld Lang Syne, Highland Cathedral and many more.
