Big Brother’s Golden Ticket?

Johnny Depp might nearly end up as a contestant if Big Brother’s latest stunt is anything to go by.

As in the UK the series will giving away golden tickets in Starburst confectionary. Thee will be 100 lucky tickets in products which give the bearers a chance to become a housemate and win BB.

But ticket-holders will still be subjected to a screening process and be expected to follow normal BB rules. So in effect the show is really just another glorified audition process, dressed up as a trophy.

In the UK the winning tickets were even auctioned on EBay. Even with smallprint conditions banning such, it’s difficult to see how producers could prevent that from happening here.
