Catch up debut

Well I’ve only seen 5 minutes so far, so I will hold off giving an opinion, but the figures for Nine’s new Catch-Up weren’t too bad for the first day.

It came second with 244,000 against a 2003 Tom Selleck movie on Seven which had 299,000. Oprah was third with 170,000.

A show like this really needs some time to develop. New cast, new concept, new shift in daytime programming.

UPDATE: And here are the figures for Day Two.

Alas, it dropped to 151,000, suggesting a lot of first-time visitors didn’t return.

The long haul begins.
