Seven appears to have given up on Las Vegas, possibly to be re-tried later in the year subject to how they are travelling with US stockpiles.
It might also be part of a rejuvenated 7HD, but that’s just a guess.
Most Seven shows are about to rest for the Oz Open anyway, which will almost lead them back into ratings.
I’m a ten fan but they really treat viewers like crap. And what about Las Vegas? Seven have room for freakin Grey’s Anatomy repeats but can’t show Las Vegas? Do you have any idea what they might do with it? Late night slot this year perhaps? Apologies if you’ve already addressed this but I didn’t have time to read through 71 replies.
Monk will likely come to TEN HD, where it was scheduled to appear but switched at the last minute.
What is happening with Las Vegas Seven are really p***ing me off!! They stuffed it around last year and now it’s not even worthy for the non ratings period! And will we ever see Monk on FTA ever again? Ten are the worst in this area followed by Nine & Seven who are about the same.
Both are repeats.
Family Guy’s back on now – it returned last week. I saw an ad for Two and a Half Men the other day, but I’m not sure when it’s on.
Hey
I get where you are coming from but this does not seem like what this section was designed for as I said.
Due to the nature of downloading and new media platforms, fast tracking will become more popular and all you are going to end up with is a list of extremely current shows that the networks are playing in tandem with America but due to our Christmas break are called season finales. By next year your list will be exhaustive. Prison Break, House, Life, WIthout a Trace, Cold Case.
That is not what your aim was, was it? You could start a new section called Fast Tracked shows. I don’t know.
As I said I think you started this to show programmers what viewers are waiting for. Viewers have either been been waiting more than 18 months for a show to return or the network did not finish off its previous season.
Those shows would include Gilmore Girls, Nip/Tuck (although that is returning), Family Guy, Las Vegas, Ghost Whisperer (2 eps remain), CSI: Miami (didn’t finish), CSI: New York (did not finish), Judging Amy, Monk, King of the Hill etc etc.
Lets not group a fast tracked show like Prison Break where there are no more episodes to show anyway with a show like Gilmore Girls where Nine have treated with contempt.
There isn’t as many shows as you think. Shows have expiry dates, usually about 3 years. If you include axed shows like Gilmore Girls that have been axed but not played out, or shows still on air in America but we are ages behind like say Last Comic Standing or King of the Hill the list isn’t that exhaustive. Nine have about 25 shows, Ten about 18 and Seven less than 10.
I would not include shows that have not started like Invasion because shows like that will eventually turn up before they expire.

Good points, and the case of fast-tracked shows isn’t the same as other axed shows no.
But the networks were also specious in promoting most of the fast-tracked shows as ‘Season Finales.’ So this page acts as a record for those who want to reference what’s been paused. Seven also opted not to give us double Heroes when it didn’t play a new Bionic Woman on Nov 22. Instead they will have to sit on 2 eps til god knows when. So at what point do I add Heroes to the list? I take them off as shows return, but I have a feeling Heroes will be sitting there a while…
So in the end I decided to opt for the criteria I’d always had “a show that’s been paused before its season playout” rather than the reasoning behind a move.
True I could add HeadLand but I had to draw a line somewhere and opted for 2007. I’ll probably start a fresh page for 2008 as clearly we have some shows here that are just NEVER comin’ back!
Thanks for the Family Guy reminder, I will add. You know your stuff Aaron, join the blog brigade! 😉
Hey
Some of those Seven shows are a bit mean.
Seven aired every episode of Bionic Woman that aired in America and in fact that has been made before the strike.
My Name is Earl was a fast tracked show, so to put it in the same category as something like Gilmore Girls is just not right.
Prison Break aired every episode the same as America and the next new ep does not air until January in America.
Heroes is another fast tracked show and Seven has aired everything America has except 2 episodes.
I know these could be counted as incomplete seasons but lets look at the general principal of why you created this. To make networks accountable for shows they treat badly and where seasons are incomplete.
For Seven instead of the shows you listed above, scratch those except Las Vegas because Seven did not complete the last season. Go for Family Guy as Seven had some leftover episodes before they pulled it earlier in the year. Also you could add Headland to that list.
This list is almost a punishment list to see the networks that are treating viewers with discontempt. Don’t throw in a show where the network has screened every single episode available as in Bionic Woman and Prison Break or is almost up to date with a show PLUS was fast tracked as in Earl and Heroes.
Just my humble opinion
AARON
What Two and a Half Men ep are we waiting to be screened from??
No because they are repeats.
Should Two and a Half Men be removed now??
Sure. it only finished airing 45 mins ago!
I also need to add a lot more now the year is over.
Shouldn’t Bones should be removed from here now? It is airing Thursday nights.
It was Series 2 Ep 8 from Nov 2006.
Was The New Adventures of Old Christine last night a new season or one of the remaining epiosdes of the unfinished season
Given this has ended in the US I imagine Nine decided not to run it in Ratings.
Probably going to be summer filler, and one of the best.
Where in the fook is “Studio 60 on the sunset strip” Channel Eddy (9)??? Downloaded the first few of the net and it is SUCH a great show… AIR IT, PRICKS!
Torchwood was bumped, but not dumped by TEN to the late timeslot of 12am Wed Morning (Tue nights) and all episodes were played. Do a search in this blog for more info (top left hand corner).
I would like to know what happened to TORCHWOOD! I know it is made by the producers of Dr Who – because there was a crossover with Cpt Jack in the Dr who finale, but where did it go from 10 and when is it comming back!!!!!!
‘Shark’ is gone?? It only just started.
Where is Survivor: China come on channel nine.
i wish bones was back
on the 7 website, under bones it says: returning soon to 7
it has said that since JULY!
Aww thanks!
