Seven again. TEN The Biggest Loser.

Seven pulled ahead of Nine in Week 11 after a tight finish in Week 10.

Seven finished with a 30.1% share ahead of Nine’s 27.7% and TEN’s stalled 20.9%. The ABC had 15.8 and SBS 5.4%.

Seven won all nights except Thursday and Friday, which went to Nine.

Several programmes pick up this week including Dancing with the Stars, House and McLeod’s Daughters. The news was encouraging for Daryl’s show, given it had opened with a season low and started heading south. The ejection of Naomi Robson (with Jamie Durie in the bottom two) also suggests there is more interest in fresher faces –a confusing message for a show based on celebrity.

Heroes and Lost continue to get beaten by opposition programmes. Sixty Minutes has not yet recovered from the introduction of Ugly Betty.

Today Tonight had an unusual drop on Tuesday when viewers appeared to reprimand it for the Corby debacle, but were back the following night.

Getaway also appears to be tiring, two weeks of 1m now. Seven may have been right to move The Great Outdoors to Saturdays, but in truth it was struggling last year.

Nine was also missing the strength of RPA, which had delivered audiences of 1.5m. Its replacement Footy Show (AFL / NRL combined) had 1m.

TEN’s performance is disappointing with House its only real strength. The Biggest Loser has not yet built on its success of 2006, but is nevertheless competitive in the weekly 7pm slot. Otherwise it’s Law & Order, NCIS Simpsons and Bondi Rescue to the rescue.
