Kate Ritchie, the girl who has grown up before our very eyes, will join Grant Denyer in co-hosting It Takes Two.
She replaces Teresa Livingstone from series one after she copped more flak than praise.
Home & Away’s Kate is again nominated for a Gold Logie next week. She has appeared on the soap since 1988.
Last year Ritchie also appeared in the ABC telemovie Stepfather of the Bride. She has also recently commenced a radio role with Nova.
Last year Ritchie appeared as one of the singers on ITT, but as co-host the gig will mean flying to Melbourne every week where the series is filmed.
It Takes Two premieres on Tuesday May 8 replacing Dancing with the Stars.

I adore Kate as well … great to see her in a different role, but I would HATE for her to ever leave Home & Away!
Jack!
She should have won it for her Milko performances.

I love Kate – she’s gorgeous & one of Australia’s brightest stars.
Its fantastic how she is branching out into other areas, however Home & Away wouldnt be the same without her & 7 know this!
Kate richie will win the Gold this year, especially after the shock of Sally’s possible death in the 06 Home & Away seasin finale.
