Returning: Survivor

Nine is bringing Survivor back to our screens, but in a very low profile timeslot.

The hit reality series is back 10.30pm Sunday May 20.

This 14th season is set in Fiji.

Nine last scheduled survivor at 9:30pm but when it didn’t fire, it was bumped to 10.30pm. Now gaining the old Apprentice timeslot suggests only fleeting interest by Nine.

This series premiered in the US in February and is now whittling down about half a dozen contestants. The cast is again racially mixed, though without any emphasis on this. No openly gay contestants. Exile Island is once again back with, you guessed it, a new twist.

But if you don’t want to know who’s already gone, avoid internet spoilers!

Meanwhile Survivor 15 will be set on mainland China.

  1. YAY! Just hope WIN will also be airing it, they have been snobbing some of the Channel 9’s shows of late (The Cath Up / The Nanny etc)
