Great to hear Weeds will be back on Nine in about a month’s time!

The darkly comic drama from Showtime caused quite a ruckus with Nine’s largely older audience for its supposed-endorsement of marijuana in the suburbs. It was also strong on four-letter words and sex.

But did that mean such liberations were without consequence? Of course not! It was the best new show over summer.

Meanwhile Series 3 of the drama gets underway in the US in late July.

In other news, Nine has confirmed ER is likely to return in about 2 months, but Men in Trees will be a summer filler.
