Bumped: Pirate Master

TEN has made Pirate Master walk the plank.
The show hosted by Aussie Cameron Daddo has been removed from its Thursday 7:30pm timeslot and will linger out in TEN’s favourite dumping ground, Sunday afternoons.
This week it only had 622,000 viewers.
The show will next be seen at 12pm Sunday July 29 where it had previously bumped Teen Fit Camp and Celebrity Dog School.
And what’s replacing the show?
You guessed it. Simpsons repeats.

I’m really disappointed the show finished. Why can’t Channel 10 just show the rest of it so we can see who wins?
It really annoys me when all we get is simpsons repeats .My family really enjoyed watching Pirate Master together, and with no warning at all it moved to Sunday, then its gone completely.I am so sick of repeats ,repeats ,repeats. So instead of watching ten this sunday we have changed to ABC.
Stuff Ten they are a bunch of wankers anyway. I liked that show. I hate the
Damn Simpsons.
Yep that was added today.
There’s a repeat Simpsons episode (Jaws Wired Shut) at 7:30pm and actually then there’s an all-new special titled “Making Of The Simpsons Movie” at 8:00pm.)
That is a shame, I was actually starting to enjoy the show, and could see the links with both survivor and apprentice.
Initially I hated it, but there are some good characters emerging.
Looks like some Sunday TV for me.
God forbid Ten would put on something different, maybe some Seinfeld repeats perhaps.
Hooray! Frankly I don’t think Ten is playing enough Simpsons repeats considering that the movie will be released nationwide this Thursday. 😀
Sometimes yes and no. It’s rare an overseas show works here but not there. The other way round is more common.
For a show that flopped in the US, why did they expect it to do any better here? I mean the Daddo factor can’t be enough reason! 🙂
Do they purchase these shows before they go to air in the US?
cant go wrong with the simpsons
