Set in a spa, the ITV chat show premieres at 7:30pm Saturday July 21 and sees some of the celebs getting an Edna-style makeover.

Grab the gladiolis and pop the champagne – it’s time to celebrate the return of the world’s most famous housewife megastar, back to make our world a better place in the new Nine Network series, The Dame Edna Treatment, premiering Saturday, July 21 at 7.30pm.
Dame Edna will host her new chat show from her exclusive health spa, where she’ll entertain other megastars as they rest and recuperate from the unbearable strains of everyday celebrity life.
“I’m giving exclusive access to my inner sanctum,” says Dame Edna. “While most gigastars, megastars and wannabe popular people are locking themselves away behind big gates and old security guards, I’m opening my doors and my arms to you, you lucky little possums.”
Known for the inimitable interviewing style that has made her a household name across the globe, Dame Edna’s first program will feature interviews and appearances Shane Warne, Alan Alda, Graham Cole and Jeff Stewart from The Bill and a musical performance by Sophie Ellis Bextor.
Each episode will also showcase a guest singer, with performances by Michael Bolton, Fergie, Engelbert Humperdinck, Deborah Harry, Shirley Bassey, Sophie Ellis Bextor and k.d. lang lined up.
Other celebrity guests who will pop into the health spa for the trademark Edna treatment include Martin Sheen, Carmen Electra, Ronnie Corbett, Alec Baldwin, Tim Allen, Susan Sarandon, Alan Alda, Robin Gibb, Ivana Trump, Matt Lucas and David Walliams from the British comedy series Little Britain, and Shane Warne.
