Newton appeal next week

Matthew Newton’s appeal against his conviction for assault charges has been adjourned until next week

Newton was given a 12month good behaviour bond following a case involving his former girlfriend, actress Brooke Satchwell.

Newton is scheduled to return to Foxtel’s comedy Stupid, Stupid Man while Satchwell is shooting Canal Road for Nine.
