Nine’s clip show What A Year hangs uncertainly after Nine has made a quick scheduling adjustment to its Monday viewing.
Next week it will be replaced by Queen’s Castle a series which goes behind the scenes of the British royalty.
It will also screen the following week.
There is no news yet on whether What A Year will be screened elsewhere, or a return date. But this week it’s 658,000 viewers were thumped by Border Security’s 1.8m viewers and Australian Idol’s 1.4m viewers. You do the math…

could it be that after all the ’50 years of television’ the genre needs a rest?
Great … I like any show that is about Queens!!! Really looking forward to this even though I am no Monarchist.
As for Bert … they keep giving him embarassing shows … give him something decent you idiots!
Jack!
In a way I think it’s a pity. I enjoyed the 80s flashbacks, and I think Julia’s fab.
But I also agree that these endless cheap clip shows are just off
Bert seems like a nice bloke and an icon and all that…But I for one am over him, I dont go anywhere near anything that he is in.
Are they actually surprised that we’re over cheap clip shows? Wow. Good to see someone smart works there now.
