Airdate: Bionic Woman

Seven has announced Bionic Woman will premiere on Thursday October 4.

It will screen at 8:30pm.

The debut will be one week after it starts in the US, and is part of Seven’s ongoing ‘fasttrack’ strategy.

Bionic Woman is created by David Eick, one of the creatives behind Battlestar Galactica’s reinvention. It stars UK actor Michelle Ryan…. but in a concerning casting move Isaiah Washington also has a recurring role.

Seven fast tracks the hot new series premiere of BIONIC WOMAN just days after the U.S. telecast. After a devastating car accident, Jaime Sommers’ only hope for survival is the cutting-edge, top-secret technology that comes at a hefty price. With a whole new existence and a debt to re-pay, Jaime must figure out how to use her extraordinary abilities for good – while weighing up the personal sacrifices she will have to make. Ultimately, it’s Jaime’s journey of self-discovery and inner strength that will help her embrace her new life as the ‘Bionic Woman’. Starring MICHELLE RYAN, MIGUEL FERRER, MOLLY PRICE, WILL YUN LEE, CHRIS BOWERS, LUCY KATE HALE and MARK SHEPPARD.

  1. after watching 5 minutes of bionic woman pilot, i thought it was just a piece of trash that was needed to be thrown into a trash bin straight away, the pilot was just so boring, the characters were lame and from what i heard it doesn’t get any better than that. So therefore I will give it 2 thumbs down..

  2. The drama scenes weren’t handled well at all, very cliche. The only redeeming qualities were the casting of Michelle Ryan and the action sequences. This is no Battlestar yet.

  3. i think its a good show cos it shows a woman kicking butt! yehh.. lol.
but neil it is soo not beta than ghost whisperer.
and it isnt beta than house
but its still a good show

  4. i know, something at last! so you think you can dance is good, but over-stretched at 2+ hours!
works really well with Heroes @ 9.30….kinda like a sci-fi type of double….but will it struggle with Ghost Whisperer as a lead-in?

and what type of figures will Prison Break get with a weak lead-in like Las Vegas….no way will it compete against House! slightly worried, but still, good on 7 for bringing it forward
