Returning: The Wedge

Sketch comedy show The Wedge will return to TEN from Sunday September 16.

The show will be moved to the later timeslot of 10:25pm.

The series was recently rested following low ratings returns, but is still of value to TEN for its local content quota points.

These are available to networks which screen first-run scripted drama or comedy between 6pm and midnight, including Aussie films.

TEN will also air the movie Kenny and a Making Of show on the evening of Wednesday 19th September.

  1. So now formula one will be pushed even later.

No wonder TEN doesn’t get ratings for F1…they have screwed around with it so much (remember the ads last year? Keep sport on Free to air?).

Methinks Commercial TV is in the crapper. I now stream F1 on the internet, most sport is on Foxtel and I download all the TV shows I watch. I’ve never been happier!

  2. Well, at least the show return to make us all hold our sides when we compare it’s bottominbg out ratings to those it got on debut last year. Now THAT’S funny!

  3. Not surprised by its return, but you’d think that TEN would put it in a timeslot that it would actually rate (8pm Tuesdays).

Well, after this season, the series is sure to get the axe, so I’m not complaining. 🙂
