As indicated by this site in July, Weeds will return to Channel Nine from Monday October 1.
The second series of the racy Showtime series will screen at 10:30pm on Mondays (should be a good switch for viewers finishing Californication) and it will be followed by Girls Next Door at the Playboy Mansion.
Weeds is now in its third season in the US.

Wake up Nine. Follow the other networks and start screening shows closer to their US air dates. Perhaps start with Pushing Daisies in October?
Each ep 40 mins.
Far too late, unless Channel Nine decide to show season 3 straight after airing season 2, which is unlikely. Channel 9 has definitely lost me as a viewer.
Will Nine try and squish 2 episodes into an hour again or will they take a leaf from ten and just play one episode over 40 minutes or so?
Ahh yes, I sit corrected. Showtime it is, well spotted.
too little too late. i have already seen it all and also the first 5 episodes of season 3 which is more serious for nancy but still great viewing. channel 9 lost me by waiting too long to show it which is the same for a lot of others i am sure.
HBO would kill to have Weeds – it’s on Showtime. What’s interesting is that both Californication and Weeds are on Showtime (US), with the latter being the lead-in. It was mainly Cali’s ability to sustain the Weeds audience that helped get it an early announced second season.
So in effect, Nine and Ten have switched the order of the shows, but it should still be a potent combo.
