Ellen de Generes opened her show in tears this week, unable to control her emotions over a family pet which was returned to animal welfare, and taken away from some kids.
What the?
It’s quite a performance by de Generes who weeps openly on air, unable to kick off the show with her usual zest.
De Generes and partner Portia de Rossi adopted the pooch, named Iggy, but realised she was unable to keep the pet. So she found another family to care for it. But this breached an agreement with the animal rescue agency (sheesh) who took the mutt away as a result.
“I thought I did a good thing. I tried to find a loving home for the dog because I couldn’t keep it.”
“I feel totally responsible for it and I’m so sorry. I’m begging them to give that dog back to that family,” she said. “It’s not their fault. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have given the dog away. Just please give the dog back to those little girls.”

The dog is in a loving home and THATS ALL THAT MATTERS!!
So Ellen gave it away,it’s better off with that family than in a concrete shelter with people who don’t love it and will probably put it down if it gets to big.
Shame on Mutts and Moms.
Wake up and give the dog back you jerks.

Unlike the first post I do like Ellen and find her quite funny but I’m sorry she was in the wrong here. She can cry and sob all she likes but Mutts & Moms did the right thing by the dog and Ellen must have known she was breaking the rules. Ellen should admit she did the wrong thing. What’s even more wrong is the staff at Mutts & Moms have been getting death threats! Freaks!
I can’t tell if she acting quite badly or is just plain mental. Either way it’ll help boost the ratings, as Amoricans LOVE eating JUNK – which you can see right there in her audience. Get a dog up ya, Ellen. Oh whoops, sorry… And if you think this all sounds terribly mean it’s BECAUSE YOU’RE STUPID. Can you tell I’m not a big fan of Ellen?
