Gone: Las Vegas

The last spin of the Montecito’s roulette wheel will turn on Wednesday Oct 31 at 8:30pm.

Seven is halting Las Vegas at Season 4 at episode 14, “The Burning Bedouin” in Sydney and 13 “Pharoah Nuff” in Melbourne.

Figures for the series have been regularly disappointing in the tough Wednesday slot. Last night the series only attracted 614,000 viewers against TEN’s 1.56m viewers for House and the ABC’s audiences for Spicks and Specks (1.39m) and The Chaser (1.5m) and Nine’s Cold Case (1m). But Seven’s move has been planned for some time.

It follows further changes to upcoming Wednesdays with Prison Break taking an enforced break.

  1. I actually like this decision, they put it up against house and spicks and specs, and i love those shows but can only tape one and watch another and so i have to pass on SAS.

I hope it comes back in a better timeslot and before the rest of the audience gets it from other sources.

  2. This really bunches my shorts! This is such a cool show and it’s in such a tough slot. I just hope seven put it back on soon or at least in the NRP.
