Jana emerging from silence

Jana Wendt is emerging from her notoriously private life, giving a series of select media interviews.

In September Wendt fronted a Queensland Breast Cancer Campaign after research indicated she was recognised by women as being trustworthy.

Tomorrow she has an interview in the Sydney Morning Herald. Will she break her silence on her views on the state of the television industry?

Wendt last appeared on television for Channel Seven’s 50th celebrations last year, hot on the heels of quitting the Nine Network over differences on Sunday.

And next month she makes an appearance on TEN’s Rove.

The reclusive star will chat to Rove McManus on Sunday November 4.

It will be great to see her back on the screen, if only briefly.

  1. I have no problem with calling her a star. Her body of work over the years and the respect she commands is exemplary. She has a gold Logie and is a household from her first name alone.

    Stan can only wish sorry…

  2. Why hasn’t the ABC signed her up? She would be a fantastic addition.

Oh, and David, there is something wrong with the blog – it only loads up till the Rod Stewart article????
