Today Tonight ruled ‘misleading.’

A judge in the Federal Court has found a story on Today Tonight gave ‘misleading or deceptive’ information in a story on a “get-rich quick” scheme.

The stories on the property investment group ‘Wildly Wealthy Women Millionaire Mentoring Program’ date back to October 2003 and January 2004 when Naomi Robson was host.

The judge found there were three misrepresentations claiming the two creators of the program owned 60 properties when they did not, had purchased $1m in properties when they had not, and claimed one was a millionaire when she was not.

Seven denied it was deceptive stating it reported the claims of the two women.
