As part of its pitch to be recognised as the “awards” network earlier this year, Foxtel will telecast the 35th American Music Awards live to air at 12pm Monday November 19 on FOX8.
The awards will feature live performances from Jennifer Hudson, Maroon 5, Duran Duran, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Avril Lavigne, Alicia Keys, Rascal Flatts and Daughtry.
Foxtel now has nearly all the big award ceremonies, frequently screened live to air, including The Golden Globes, the Emmys, the Grammys, the Tonys, MTV’s AVMAs and the Helpmann Awards.
The countdown has begun to one of music’s most memorable nights! The 35th Annual AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS, honour today’s superstars in the world of music. The show is a worldwide sensation and is seen in over 100 international television territories.
The talent line-up of performers confirmed for the 35th Annual AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS include Maroon 5, Duran Duran, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Avril Lavigne, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Rascal Flatts and Daughtry.
Nominees for the awards this year have been announced with Justin Timberlake, Beyoncẻ, Linkin Park and Daughtry leading the pack with three nominations each.
