BB nominations changes

Reports today that the Monday edition of Big Brother will be scrapped next year as part of the show’s revamp.

It is understood radio commitments for Kyle Sandilands will limit his involvement.

“I do know that there will be a whole heap of changes, and Kyle will absolutely not be as heavily involved as Gretel was in the show,” his manager India Bent told Confidential.

There is speculation Mike Goldman will have an increased role.

“A lot of the staff – not just Gretel – who have worked on the show for years have left, and from what I understand it will be completely different.,” Goldman said.

The reality show already has a new Exec Producer, Rory Callaghan formerly of Dancing with the Stars.

The show is currently taking online entries via its official site.

  1. I love the nomination show – always tape it if I’m out and love to see what reasons they come up with. It will be interesting to see how they handle noms.

  2. So glad the noms show has gone! It was so drawn out and boring that skipping it completely in the past made no difference to keeping up with the storylines.

  3. Axing the Monday show is a good idea. Big Brother’s ratings have never justified so many timeslots and specials and now they’re at their lowest they really need to trim the fat.
