Rudd: from Rove to the KAKster

Fresh from telling Rove he would turn gay for his wife, Therese, Kevin Rudd will appear on Mornings with Kerri-Anne tomorrow, with Therese in tow.

It is the first interview they have given as a couple since the campaign started.

The KAKster has a way of disarming politicians, previously encouraging Rudd to dance the rhumba and Peter Costello the Macarena.

Press Release:

Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd and his wife Therese Rein will appear live on Mornings with Kerri-Anne tomorrow, November 20 after the Today show.

This is the first interview the pair has done as a couple since the election campaign began.

In a rare insight into the couple’s private life, Kerri-Anne will talk to them about their relationship, family, their support for each other and understanding how they deal with the daily pressures that come with life in politics and the campaign trail.

When Mr Rudd last appeared on the show in April, Kerri-Anne taught him a few rumba steps in preparation for his daughter Jessica’s wedding, and tomorrow they will share photos from their family album of that special day.

Mornings with Kerri-Anne airs 9am weekdays on Nine.
