Phil Keoghan has just had his frequent flyer points boosted. CBS is ordering another series of The Amazing Race.
When Viva Laughlin bombed in the US, the network moved TAR forward. Its 12th season has improved on viewers, averaging 12m per week, its best since 2005.
In Australia the Seven Network is currently screening Series 10, which it skipped in favour of the All Stars edition, Series 11. The shuffling means two of the teams currently on screen already appeared to Aussie viewers as “losing teams” in the All Stars series.

I wish they’d film this show in widescreen, it would really benefit from it. It surprises me how many US shows still seem to be in the old fullscreen format
Only the educated read TV Tonight! Thanks for spotting.
Spelling!!! Phi?????
I have been watching Season 12 direct from USA. Must say that show captures my imagination every time.
They always keep to the winning formula, with only a few tweaks every now and then to keep contestants guessing.
A true “reality” show as the storylines focus on the highs and lows of the teams and the way the race tests their relationships.
Bring on Season 13!
Great news, thanks for the update David, keep up the good work on this “must see” website.
Very much looking forward to Season 12 after the current season 10 completes on Ch7.
This is one reality series that I thoroughly enjoy each time its on!!
