It was cancelled by NBC earlier this year, then it moved to satellite network DirecTV in September, but now the future of that bewitching soap, Passions, is under a spell.
The show starring Juliet Mills is currently due to wrap production in March.
DirecTV plans to air new episodes through to August.
Now it will be up to another cable network, such as Oxygen to pick up the show or it may vanish in a puff of smoke.
The show was also the first break for actor Jesse Metcalfe.

awww, Passions used to be a great show. Pity channel seven stopped showing new eps and filled all of 2007 with old repeats 🙁
