SBS Television’s Living Black program is looking for a video journalist to join the team in 2008.
They promise, “It’s a fantastic job – you get to travel all over Australia filming and reporting on the triumphs and trials of indigenous people, before broadcasting your stories nationally on SBS.”
Such offers of a foot in the door are pretty rare.

Here’s what you need to be: comfortable in front and behind a video camera, genuinely interested in the culture and complexities of Australia’s first people and completely unfazed about travelling to remote places by yourself.
Oh, and you should come to the job with journalistic ability, story ideas and no fear of tight deadlines.
