GLAAD nominees announced

The nominees for the annual awards for gay and lesbian representation in US media have been announced.

They include Brothers & Sisters, Dirty Sexy Money, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, The L Word and Degrassi High.

There will also be special awards for L Word creator Ilene Chaiken, Wilson Cruz from My So Called Life and Brian Graden, President of Entertainment at MTV.

The 19th Annual GLAAD awards will be announced in ceremonies commencing March 17 in New York.

  1. Hey, let’s do this for Australian programs! Oh that’s right, someone who’s “different” gets to come in for a couple of episodes, and then swiftly gets written out.
