The fourth season of Lost finally takes flight in the US this week, shortened from 16 to 8 episodes courtesy of the writer’s strike.
Five new actors are joining the series: Rebecca Mader, Ken Leung, Jeff Fahey, Jeremy Davies, and Lance Reddick.
It kicks off one week later on Seven on Thursday February 7 at 9:30pm.
So what will the new cast members be up to? Are they here for good or evil?
Here’s some theories and info on the new actors. Minor spoilers follow.

Have you heard that Oceanic Airlines is starting back up again? They can’t even find Flight 815 yet? We’ve already lost one great musician, If I ever fly I’m going to spend that little bit more, they’re much too risky..
😉
Phew, that’s okay then 🙂
I can handle a week’s delay if I get to see the show in HD. But two weeks would have been way too long to avoid spoilers and discussions about the show.
Best thing on TV, this, no question about it. For those that “get” it, it’s something taken VERY seriously 🙂
Apologies for incorrect date… worked too late last night zzzzz…
David, Lost starts thursday week. It says it on the http://www.yahoo7.com.au/lost website. It is the 7th not 14th. But an easy mistake.
What a damn shame the writers’ strike has destroyed this season. Ah well, at least we get half of what was planned, with hopefully the other 8 (panned but not yet written) forming the first 8 of a season of 24 next year.
With Seven, though – what’s with this two-weeks-later? Didn’t they advertise just last week that it would air around a week after the US? I could swear I saw an ad that said so.
Two weeks? That means a download for me when it comes to this show. Sorry Seven.
