A drug raid on a suburban LA home was like a scene from Weeds, when police swarmed on an area neighbouring the locations used in the Showtime drama.
Police seized 1,000 pot plants worth as much as $8 million found in a high-tech marijuana operation in a suburban Santa Clarita Valley home.
“This is like on TV,” said a neighbor. “You don’t expect it in your own neighborhood.”
The homeowner was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony cultivating marijuana and held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
A three-car garage of the gray-trimmed house had been divided into three rooms, where marijuana plants were in various stages of growth, nurtured by extravagant gardening and lighting systems.

Nine says “mid year.”
When will the third season of Weeds be shown in Australia? On Arena first or on Channel Nine?
