Sarah Connor, Cashmere Mafia airing in Feb

The Nine Network will launch new US shows Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles and Cashmere Mafia in February.

Both have aired only just premiered in the US this year.

Sarah Connor Chronicles picks up a year after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day with John and Sarah Connor (Thomas Dekker and Lena Headey) hiding from the government.

Cashmere Mafia by Darren Star follows four female executives who have been friends since college in New York City. Starring Lucy Liu and Australia’s Miranda Otto and Frances O’Connor, it is considered a direct rival to Lipstick Jungle by Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell.

Meanwhile Seven looks set to air Dirty Sexy Money in February too. Produced by Bryan Singer (House) and Greg Berlanti (Brothers and Sisters) it follows a dysfunctional, wealthy family. It stars Donald Sutherland and Jill Clayburgh.

Stay tuned for airdates and timeslots!

  1. I’ve seen the original pilot of The Sarah Connor Chronicles and it honestly wasn’t very good. If it tries to tie into the continuity of all three films then there is zero supense to be had here, but with some plot twists in the pilot I guess they’re ignoring T3. I really don’t expect this to last more than a season.

  2. Anyone care to take bets on how long it will take before Sarah Connor gets err, “removed” from the schedule???
Knowing what nine has been like previously with similar themed shows, the chances of this and another one of there New shows, Pushing Daisies surviving are not real good.

  3. I’m looking forward to these shows, but it seems like they’ve run out of good names to call shows. Sarah Connor’s title is just too long. And Cashmere Mafia nad Dirty Sexy Money? Please. But then again House was dumb name for a show about doctors.
