Speculation today that Nine’s Sunday programme is to pit itself against Weekend Sunrise by moving timeslots.
Crikey reports that the flagship current affairs show will air between 7:30 and 9:30 am upon its return. That allows the show a 30 minute head start on Seven.
The gossip column says a new sports program will be introduced at 9.30 to lead into the Footy Show in winter months.

Sunday is, imo, NINE’s best programme. Sadly they don’t realise that. It appears that after hitting it to the floor, they are now stamping their feet on its bleeding head. It will be a sad day if Sunday goes…it is the last quality news programme on commercial tv.
