Bonaduce to judge kid stars for Nine

Oh great. What did we do to deserve being lumbered with Danny Bonaduce?

The loud American will adopt a judging role in Nine’s forthcoming My Kid’s a Star, described as “a reality series in which a group of kids (and their parents) compete in order to be deemed the next child star.”

The outspoken Bonaduce achieved fame as the irascible kid in the 70’s sitcom, The Partridge Family, but has since dotted his adult career with a string of personal controversies.

These days he works mostly in radio and TV appearances. When he travelled to Australia, Bonaduce also served as a guest host for Steve Vizard on Tonight Live.

My Kid’s a Star, also known as I Know My Kid’s a Star, is to be hosted by Cameron Daddo.

Last year Daddo fronted the special, With Friends Like These, profiling Anthony La Paglia, but it didn’t fire and failed to become a series. Pirate Master was also cut short.

Daddo was previously a participant in Nine’s Celebrity Circus.
