Power of When?

Channel Nine may have let the cat out of the bag in regards to the intended timeslot for new gameshow The Power of Ten -or have they?

On Nine’s official site, a page for the the Steve Jacobs-hosted show looks a tad unfinished. Perhaps the web design department were still toying with their ideas.

In any case there are two times indicated on the site. The first is Thursdays 9:30pm. Underneath is the time of “Tuesday 23rd March 7:30pm” but it appears to be associated with a video clip, and March 23 is a Sunday.

Nine has previously indicated Power of Ten would premiere in February, thus leaving 9:30pm Thursdays as a possible timeslot. It is also possible the design was assembled an uploaded before any timeslot was settled upon. After all, it currently shows Keira Knightley as the presenter!

Nine’s website error isn’t the first time technology has caused a network to come unstuck. Last year Rove‘s own website announced he had signed for more shows with TEN before the network announced it at their 2008 launch.

Seven has frequently revealed timeslot on its website while the Programming Department has sought to keep such information under media embargo.

  1. Its more than likely just a placeholder page made by a web designer who didnt have any official information about the show.

9.30 Thursdays is no doubt too late for a family game show, not to mention, it’s The Footy Show’s timeslot.

  2. “Air’s” ?? 🙂

But you’d think a professional online outlet such as Ninemsn would know not to have these “under construction” sites for public viewing?
