And look what else Nine is bringing back

Admittedly it isn’t as old as either Wheel of Fortune or The Young Doctors, but there’s another show from 2007 we all thought was seemingly dead.

But Nine says one of the shows it sampled last year is part of its next programming slate in the near future.

This is a show that didn’t exactly set the world on fire, but was technically never axed. Naturally, we all presumed it was off the radar, never to be heard of again.

Any guesses?

Yep, just when you thought it was safe to karaoke, The Singing Bee will return.

As yet there is no further news on date or host. There’s nothing to stop Nine from bringing back Joey Fatone -but why would you? He added nothing to the show. Singer Rob Mills could have done a better job, but he will be a busy boy going into the stage production of ‘Wicked.’

The producer of Singing Bee, Pam Barnes, is currently putting together the Logies for May 4. Can we expect to see pre-production on this resume once they are out of the way?

  1. this show was good. it was schedueled in the wrong spot. either saturday night or even as a news lead in and now with tim campbell signing with nine, well maybe he could be an option as host?

  2. Whatever happened to that Aussie version of Don’t Forget The Lyrics that was in the works? I hope that never sees the light of day. That would be woeful

  3. People are so harsh on this show. I always enjoyed it, but I never watched it alone, its definitely a fun group show to watch together and play along at home…if that sort of thing floats your boat.
