Bumped: Sam Who. Returning: How I Met Your Mother

Easter non-ratings sees a few changes to Seven’s schedule, one of which could indicate a permanent change.

Samantha Who will move from 8pm Sundays to 7:30pm Thursdays on March 20. It will be paired with the return of How I Met Your Mother at 8pm.

In its place on Sunday night is a repeat of The Vicar of Dibley. But many are tipping Gladiators to screen on Sundays once ratings return.

Seven had also pencilled in The Rich List for Mondays but that is now out, for now, replaced by Border Security and SCU: Serious Crash Unit.

Out of the Question is replaced by an AFL match. Will it ever return to 8:30pm?

There are more changes to Seven’s non-ratings schedule updated in the Easter non-ratings Guide.

  1. I’ve gotta agree, this is awesome news
Samantha Who? is the biggest program to benefit here….it’s a decent sitcome that works well with Seven’s other programs…it just needed to move away from Sundays

going to 7.30 Thurs helps it pick up a more-similar audience out of H&A,plus works well as a new-sitcom double with Mother
love HIMYM….sure it’s not some ground-breaking sitcom, but it;s dead-set funny and always something to look forward to…being missing it for ages!

if Seven would just move Lost back to 8.30 & put out of the question at 9.30, then we’d all be happier

  2. This is great news! I know most people on this website hate HIMYM and prefer horrible shows that aren’t funny like Scrubs and 30 Rock, but they just don’t compare to the charm, wit and HUMOUR found within HIMYM. I’ve yet to watch Samantha Who as a) it clashes with SYTYCD and b) I work Sunday nights, but I might give it a shot now, and it will probably work better in this slot than as a lead-out from Kath & Kim. Does this signify the return of Ugly Betty to its former timeslot? I hope that Gladiators takes it’s place. I used to like that show as a kid.
