KISS to rock Footy Show

Rock gods KISS will perform live on The Footy Show (AFL) this Thursday night -but there’s no certainty if Sam Newman will appear.

Garry Lyon, James Brayshaw, Trevor Marmalade are back, but Newman’s health is a day by day concern, and an appearance is his choice if he feels up to it. Lyon and Brayshaw will host the Street Talk segment in his absence.

KISS, in Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix, will perform two numbers live.

Also appearing are Shane Crawford, Billy Brownless, Cameron Mooney, Chris Judd and Craig Hutchison.

Press Release:

The Footy Show returns to Channel Nine tomorrow night to celebrate 15 years of breaking footy news and entertainment that has put it at the top of its game.

Join Garry Lyon, James Brayshaw, Trevor Marmalade and who knows … maybe even Sam Newman for the latest news and entertainment from the footy world.

Favourites Shane Crawford and Billy Brownless are joined on the panel by Footy Show debutant and Geelong premiership hero Cameron Mooney.

Rock gods KISS will make their only Australian television appearance on tomorrow night’s program, performing two of their classic hits live in the studio.

Carlton’s gun recruit Chris Judd joins us on the eve of his debut season in the navy blue.

Garry and James come off the bench and head to Frankston, one of Sam’s favourite stomping grounds, for Street Talk.

Nine’s AFL Editor Craig Hutchison is back, armed with all the latest breaking news and issues as the curtain rises on the new season.

And Almost Football Legends, a Footy Show favourite, returns to showcase the stars of the minor leagues.

The Footy Show airs Thursday, March 13 at 9.30pm on Channel Nine (select states).
