Returning: Without a Trace. Bumped: CSI

Nine is turning up the heat on Sunday night viewing by moving CSI back to its 8:30pm timeslot and following it with new episodes of Without a Trace.

And upping the ante, there is even a storyline crossover in both dramas which sees Anthony LaPaglia guest in CSI and William Petersen guesting in Trace. Both dramas follow a plot involving a serial killer and missing boy.

The change takes effect from Sunday March 30, the first day back after the Easter non-ratings break.

The episode of CSI to screen is “Who and What” and the Trace ep “Where and Why.” They aired back to back in the US in November. Both CBS dramas are produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Nine will have seven more episodes of Trace that have currently aired in the US.

  1. CSI/Without A Trace should combine well. I’m particularly looking forward to the crossover episodes and seeing Grissom and Jack interact. Can’t wait!

  2. Nine resumes its reputation as the station that’s still “The One” at moving shows around to different time slots every other week. Idiots.
