Band from TV

No you’re not seeing things, that’s Teri Hatcher on vocals, Jesse Spencer on violin and James Denton on guitar.

The three were part of the group Band from TV at this week’s (American) Idol Gives Back charity event. Band from TV is a part-time group featuring a bunch of actors, presenters and TV personalities including Hugh Laurie on piano, Heroes’ Greg Grunberg, Cashmere Mafia’s Bonnie Somerville and a Bachelor leading man.

The group, (whose name is play on “banned on tv”) raise money for charity with their occasional performances. This week they performed Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” at the Idol fundraiser.
