Big Brother: Housemate Travis

TEN has leaked its third Big Brother housemate, Travis, a young man with an unusually high -make that annoyingly high- voice.

“I’m a competitive horserider with my horse Thunder, he’s an absolute champion,” he said.

“My voice would have to be the biggest asset I’ve got.”

Who Weekly says Travis is also a 20yo virgin. He joins grandmother Terri and indigenous woman Dixie.

More on Travis at the BB website.

  1. There having a show titled “Gatecrashers Special” ????
Are they actually trying to exploit the issue of late regarding mass gate crashings at suburban parties? The parties where Police cars are attacked with bottles, bashings, elderly neighbours in fear for there safety and underage drug use/binge drinking?
Am I the only one seeing the problem here?

  2. I reckon the five people they are showing on tv right now are going into a seperate part of the house, then next Sunday on the Gatecrashers special they will enter the house and then on the crowded house special on Wednesday May the 7th we will have to vote one of them out.

  3. I know a guy who has a voice like this. I can understand that many people who have never encountered it would think it’s freaky, but I hope that people watching BB will see past it and judge this guy on other merits rather than just his voice.

  4. Some comments skating close to being unapproved here.

Would recommend people at least wait until the guy has entered the House before going much further…

  5. mydoona: But it said two more will be revealed on Sunday – five people. It wouldn’t make sense to only use 4 of them in a different part of the house.

  6. the 4th HM will be a midget..No joke…these 4 will not be going into the house with the others but will go into a seperate section to help stir up the household later on.

  7. I wonder if they’re shooting themselves in the foot picking such an odd and freakish/ selection? Whilst I think it’s great, the shift is rather dramatic and may end up putting people offside!

I wonder how younger audiences will react to not seeing housemates that look like they stepped out of Home and Away?

  8. I think we’re seeing clear evidence here that Kyle Sandilands has had an influence on the choice of housemates this year. Kyle revels in the art of irritating everyone else, and it looks like they are going to choose housemates that will likely irritate each other to heck (and probably the viewing audience too).

Not sure how it will turn out in the end, but at least it’s a welcome change from past years where they pick housemates on youth and sex appeal and then hope they end up having one big orgy.

  9. Token Gay Guy? (Or one of the many)
Saying things are changed and then introducing an indigenous lady and a grandmother just proves how crap( even racist and ageist) this show has been in the past.
