It’s Hell in May

No further news as yet, but for those who have been asking, Hell’s Kitchen is reportedly due on Nine next month.

Nine has been teasing viewers with promos for the series.

The Australian briefly notes the news in a column by Amanda Meade.

Yesterday Nine’s own ACA had a story which suggested much of the Gordon Ramsay series was the result of set-ups and selective editing made to make Ramsay emerge as a culinary saviour.

Expect Hell’s Kitchen to surface in either an 8:30pm Tuesday or Wednesday slot.

Ironically, last time Nine screened the series, they took it off air due to poor figures.

  1. Hell’s is definitely not as good as The F Word(this is another Ramsay show , not sure if this has aired on any of the FTA channels, it has on Foxtel),nor Kitchen Nightmares.

  2. I don’t suppose Nine has any plans to EVER show the rest of the season of Hell’s Kitchen that they pulled off air last time…?

At the time I recall they said it would air “later in the year”. It was never seen again.

  3. As a massive Kitchen Nightmares fan, I thought I’d probably like Hell’s Kitchen. But having watched 1 episode of the current season, I have to say its typical “reality” junk.

Ramsay is a competely different person in this show compared to Kitchen Nightmares. In nightmares he is honest, but in Hell’s Kitchen he’s just a total jerk for the sake of being a jerk. I’m sure the Americans enjoy this kind of stuff, but I certainly don’t.

  4. Great news! The promo for this series is awesome.

Also of interest to all the Ramsay fans, Nine are going to air an interview special in the next few weeks. It will use footage from 60 Minutes that for some reason wasn’t able to be shown on that show:)

  5. Of course this show is a set-up, it’s entertainment not a documentary. I constantly amazes me how many people take this stuff seriously. Just sit back and enjoy it or turn it off.

  6. I’m surprised anyone would think this rubbish was anything other than “the result of set-ups and selective editing made to make Ramsay emerge as a culinary saviour”.
