Nicely done, Michelle

Further to the theory that Seven’s best eps of Deal or No Deal always screen on a Monday, have you ever seen a game board look quite like this before?

Michelle, yesterday was sitting pretty with just one case removed from the right hand side of the Deal board.

The next case she opened was $20,000 but it offered her a huge $34,000 deal. It was, as she noted, the equivalent of a year’s salary. With the odds clearly in her favour, Michelle declined the bid from Walter P. Smythe and played on.

But her luck began to run out as the big cases soon disappeared. After tumbling to an offer of just $9,000 she managed to work her way back up to $16,999 -half her top offer.

With gentle prodding from her friend in the Dealer Drome, Michelle settled for the offer (and her friend won $2,000 Megaguess). Still six months’ salary is not a bad day’s work.

The biggest and best Deal eps are often found on Mondays, as Seven seeks to hook viewers in to its Deal week and lead in to Seven News. Meanwhile Antiques Roadshow is actually not too far behind Mr. O’Keefe’s game show these days, strongest in the Melbourne market.
