The X factor on Big Mouth

TEN’s Big Brother panel show Big Mouth is confirmed to premiere in the second week of the reality show.

Hosted by Tony Squires and Rebecca Wilson it launches 9:30pm Tuesday May 6. Former housemates Tim Burnero and Paul Dwyer are regular panellists.

And for those smarting over no news on Uncut look to a clue in TEN’s latest promo promising an “X-Tra Cheeky Show” (the X is even coloured separately).

Meanwhile behindbigbrother.com claims 14 housemates will enter on launch night, followed by another 4 housemates later in the week. It also tips no ‘second house’ this year.

  1. Tony didn’t exactly say he hated BB, he just remarked about the qualities of many of the past housemates. There is a big difference there and I’m sure many BB fans would agree with him!

My theory is that they are “leaking” such information almost virally to convince people how different this year will be.

It will be interesting to see if they actually deliver!

  2. I suppose it would be too much to expect any shows on HD when there are no ratings collected. Look what happened to The Nightcap! When will oztam enable this?

  3. At this stage I only have the airdate, but they’d be mad not to go for an hour.

Knuttsy, we’re anticipating Big Mouth on SD channel in place of any Uncut. HD still has to abide by broadcasting regulations same as SD.

  4. (e)Xtra cheeky? Does Ten have any restrictions on what it can’t put on Ten HD? Why I am asking this? BB Uncut (cheeky show) will most likely go on Ten HD (a eXtra channel.) rather than the standard channel.

  5. David, can you tell us if the show is 30 minutes or 1 hour?

Love the fresh and cheeky ad campaign so far. I hope other shows take a leaf out of their book and up the quality of their promos!
