BB audience boos Corey

While most TV fans were watching the Logie Awards, party boy Corey Worthington was making his entry into the Big Brother house.

But his welcome onto the live stage by Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O was less then stellar, eliciting audible boos from the audience. So strong was the reaction, it even prompted Kyle to bite back at the audience, yelling “Shut your mouths!”

Worthington, 17, told the hosts he hoped to change people’s opinions on his media profile.

“I thought it would be a good idea to go in, tho show people how I’m really like and stuff like that,” he said.

“I hope to show how I’m different… how I actually am.

“I’m a normal 17yo kid. Party, do everything like that.

“I’m just looking for fun,” he claimed.

No mention of any celebrity fee between his manager and producers.

Producers have also put previously evicted housemate Terri, 52, back in the house as Corey’s chaperone. But her entry angered Nobbi, who has been banished to the house kombi van by Terri.

“That’s low man!” he protested. Objecting to the claim that Big Brother had promised the first evicted housemate would remain evicted, he said, “You can’t come back after the first one!”

3 new Housemates voted in via the public online vote also entered: Barney from WA, Michael from Vic and Nathan from SA.

  1. I don’t watch the show but you gotta feel a bit sorry for Corey, I remember when being rebellious was a sign of strong character. And from my understanding, he held a party and a bunch of people gatecrashed it and when he and his friends called the cops they told him to stay inside, which he did.
Since when do we blame the host of the party for the gatecrashers? Of course the incident was out of hand but why don’t we here from the actually people who gatecrashed that party and publicly shame them?
And as for ACA, I’m sure theres a bunch of people whop would love to tell em where to go, maybe he didn’t have the words to articulate it correctly, but who did at 17?

  2. It struck me that the audience was pobably encouraged to boo Corey – certainly made for beter TV watching him squirm a little. Kyle & JackieO seemed a lot more relaxed last night, however the housemates are bordering on boring already. Despite promises of difference, they all seem very samey already and trying too hard to get along and play it safe. Shame really.

  3. Good lord Kyle is a flog! Can’t hack that the audience don’t like this guy so he goes off at them. Absolute d-head and he does the same thing on Idol when the crowd cheer someone he doesn’t like. Hope this show tanks and takes this twat down with it.

  4. Well, the booing was so horrible. Seriously, he is but 17. Imagine if he were your child.

Since entering the house he has been very polite. And he took those goggles off when he entered.

  5. Great to hear the Boos – it was like watching pantomine or wrestling!

But Corey was definately not the best thing of the night. Terri’s return was hilarious along with Nobbi’s reaction.

Kyle and Jackie were great and more comfortable than on launch night.

I was taping this whilst watching the logies but It didn’t take long for the channel to be fixed on BB.

Great work, but can they keep it up?

Yes, we already know this. This is why people are booing him. If he wants to change people’s opinions, maybe he should show that he has a slightly higher goal in life.
